Journaling: I wish I could let go of the hurt. 7 years ago I lost the person that meant the most in this world to me, and my heart still hurts. Hurts for all the things that she has missed & all the things we have missed. Hurts because my kids will never know what an amazing Grandma they had. Hurts because the more time that passes the more stuff I start to forget. And most of all hurts because I never got to say goodbye. I never got to give her one last hug and kiss, hold her hand as she left this world, I wasn’t with her to tell her it would be okay, I would watch over Kaelin and Dad and we would all see each other again someday. I wish I could let go of the anger. Anger for all the things that she has missed & all the things we have missed. Anger because my kids will never know what an amazing Grandma they had. Anger because the more time that passes the more stuff I start to forget. And most of all I am pissed because I never got to say goodbye. I never got to give her one last hug and kiss, hold her hand as she left this world, I wasn’t with her to tell her it would be okay, I would watch over Kaelin and Dad and we would all see each other again someday.
